Dread the thought of paying an attorney when you need quick legal advice or basic documents? These online services aim to help.

Rocket Lawyer
This website gives subscribers access to more than 10,000 legal forms, including incorporation documents and employment agreements. Unlike most document sites, which sell only blank forms you must fill out yourself, Rocket Lawyer also has a step-by-step wizard app that asks you a series of basic questions and generates a completed form based on your answers. You can store, access, and edit documents on the Rocket Lawyer site and give other people access to them. Cost: $39.95 a month, or $300 a year, for unlimited access to personal and business documents

Digital Attorney
This site features videos of attorneys explaining complex legal issues, including workmen’s compensation and trademarks, in a straightforward way. The videos, which last seven minutes to 10 minutes, often conclude with a checklist of documents and questions you should bring if you meet with a lawyer.
